Living accommodations

Generally, you will have a variety of accommodation alternative available to you. Your choices will depend largely on whether your college or university has hostels, which city you are located in, and your monthly budget. When you receive addmission in a university, you will be given many choices by the consultant. Student Visa Application

After receiving the admission letter from the university, the student may consult the VER consultants on the visa application process and other services. We will also go through the immigration and arrival process with the student. There is a specific process for students under 18 years of age and for those for intend on taking the homestay program, which will be advised by our consultants.


Work while studying

An international student in the UK is permitted to work up to 20 hours a week during their school term, and up to full-time when school is out of term. Do check with your counselor before committing yourself in any job or working contract. It is generally not easy to get a job, so it is wise to secure a job through your university before you arrive.


Others

Check with your university if you are required to have a UK bank account. In any event, a UK bank account is always advisable. Do prepare the necessary documents that are needed for the process beforehand.
